The deep sea peel is a non acid, chemical free peel that utilises manual exfoliation to resurface the skin targeting stubborn pigmentation and improving both the skin's texture and softening the appearance of acne scarring. This peel is considered more effective and stronger than your standard peels. This potent herbal peel uses both plant extracts and sea herbs that works to stimulate collagen and elastin production as well as promoting cell turnover. Due to the strength of this peel it is not recommended for sensitive skin types and clients being treated with the peel must prep the skin prior to their treatment.
During the treatment, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and the deep sea peel is applied. The peel will be massaged and worked into the skin section by section. Depending on each client's skin concerns and the strength of the skin, the time frame in which the peel is massaged differs from client to client, lasting anywhere from 1-10 minutes. Each treatment will feel different as the more times the peel is completed the longer the peel must be massaged into the skin to combat the clients concerns enabling better results each time the treatment is done.
This peel penetrates to the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating oxygenated blood and encouraging cell turnover. It is effective in treating various skin conditions such as; pigmentation, scarring/ acne scarring, premature aging and problematic skin.

It is advised that clients wait a minimum of 4 weeks between each deep sea peel to ensure that the skin is completely healed before performing the treatment again. We recommend our clients to add on LED Light therapy treatment 24 hrs after or between their treatment to assist with the healing process.

Clients who have sensitive and impared skin, are pregnant or breastfeeding and clients on acne medications such as roaccutane are not suitable for this treatment.
Is there any downtime? Is there any downtime?
The deep sea peel is an invasive treatment in which clients will experience some downtime as a result. Clients may experience irritated skin much like a sunburn, with the skin feeling hot and itchy. This sensation will subside after 24 hours, then the peeling stage will begin. Overall downtime and recovery takes about 4-7 post treatment.

The results of this treatment varies from client to client with factors such as skin preparation, and post care being a key influence in the longevity of the result post treatment. Generally results last for up to 4 weeks. Pre and post care is advised to be followed ritually to ensure the best results.
